A long-time staple of the Italian Alpine diet, this cow’s milk cheese comes from the areas of Cuneo and Turin. We are importing the more popular “hard” version of the cheese (aged 5-6 months), which is equally good as a table cheese as it is shaved over pasta or vegetables. A versatile cheese, Bra is a product of the town of the same name and was awarded the DOP in 1996. 1/18#
