19 - Oak Honey Serra da Malcata 300g (Silver Medal 2015)This dark amber honey hails from the Serra da Malcata, a 52,000 acre mountain reserve in central-east Portugal known for its remoteness and diversity of wild flora. The bees create this honey during June and July, harvesting from acorn buds in oak forests on the northern slopes of the hills. Robust and woodsy, try it with younger cheeses like Caña de Cabra or as a substitute for molasses.  6/300g
