Tortas were introduced to Sevilla in the 8th Century with the Moorish invasion of Andalucia. We have been searching quite a while for the perfect tortas, and we finally found them. Five sisters make each torta by hand and even make the sugar crystals which adorn the sweets. Crunchy and sweet with a hint of anise, they pair wonderfully with a strong cup of coffee. 10/6.35oz
