Esporão Organic Olive Oil
The olives for this extra virgin olive oil are grown organically at the estate of Herdade de Esporão in Alentejo, Portugal. Known for their internationally lauded olive oil and wine, they use environmentally friendly agricultural methods and press the oils in their 100% sustainable olive mill. This oil is made from Cobrançosa and Arbequina olives, which are pressed immediately after picking to preserve their freshness. The result is a velvety olive oil with a fruity and floral aroma up front and hints of green tea and freshly cut grass. It is well balanced and complex, with light bitterness and spiciness that fades into a finish of dried fruits. A drizzle elevates roasted vegetables, salads, and fish.
