They contain 25% hazelnuts from Piemonte IGP, a type of specialty hazelnuts grown in the region that are protected and highly prized for their delightful aroma and sweet flavor. After whipping together the sugar and egg white, the hazelnuts are added and the meringues are slowly baked on low heat. The result is a meringue that is light, airy, and slightly chewy inside. It’s like biting into a hazelnut cloud.
