We are excited to introduce the latest addition to our line of Mitica® crackers: Pane di Musica! So called because they evoke sheets of parchment used for notating music, these feather-light semolina crackers are thin and delightfully crispy. Toasted and golden, they are finished with a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of salt. This style of bread is a specialty from Sardegna, Italy known as Pane Carasau, favored by shepherds since ancient times because it was ideal for traveling and lasted a long time. These days, crackers made from Pane Carasau are still common throughout the island and are enjoyed with cheese and charcuterie and sometimes even custard and cream. Look for them at a retailer near you very soon!
