Sfizio Pecorino Aged
This artisanal sheep’s milk cheese follows the style of the Pecorino Crotonese. As is traditional with many cheeses of southern Italy, it ages in wicker baskets for over three months, causing its rind to develop a golden color with purple and orange veining. This hard cheese exhibits a truly distinctive flavor – it can be described as a cross between a Parmigiano and a Pecorino Romano. Delicious for eating, as well as for shaving and grating.
