Long Island City,
NY, June 17, 2019 – Forever Cheese, importer of Italian, Spanish, Portuguese,
and Croatian cheese and specialty food, will be showing their newest products
at the Summer Fancy Food Show in Booth 3138, June 23-25 at the Jacob Javits
Center in New York City. They will highlight a selection of artisan cheeses and
accompaniments that have never been seen in the U.S., as well as some classics
from their 21-year history. They will also debut new retail packaging for several
lines of specialty nuts, chocolate, and condiments, including Mitica® and Casa
Forcello®. Artisan producers from Italy and Spain will join the pioneering
importer in their booth.
Over the past
year, Forever Cheese has worked on updated packaging for some of their product
lines, which they will debut at the show. “We are extremely excited to share these
new designs with our customers,” said Michele Buster, co-owner. “After our
brand refresh in celebration of our 20th anniversary, we are starting
to roll out new fun and sophisticated packaging featuring our updated branding.”
Their Mitica® line of specialty nuts, including Marcona Almonds, Caramelized
Walnuts and Pecans, Quicos®, and Piedras de Luna®, among many others, has a
fresh look. They have also updated the retail packaging for their line of
chocolate-covered candied fruits, including ChocoHigos® and Orange Delights.
Additionally, they will showcase their line of Casa Forcello® Italian mostardas
and compotes, with modernized labels that reflect the originality of these
handmade condiments. The producer, Paola Calciolari, will come from Italy to
reintroduce the line in the Forever Cheese booth for the duration of the show.
The following producers
will also fly in specifically for this year’s show: The Gritti family of
Quattro Portoni in Lombardia, Italy, who will introduce their raw buffalo milk
cheese, Liteggio, and showcase their line of aged buffalo milk cheeses,
including the classic washed rind Quadrello® di Bufala and Porta Rocca, an eight
month aged table cheese. Nadia Herrera, export manager of Grupo Ganaderos de
Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands, Spain, will be showing goat and cow’s milk
cheeses, including paprika rubbed Alisios®, Cabra al Gofio, coated in Canarian
cornmeal, and The Smokin’ Goat™, a young smoked goat’s milk cheese.
