Editor of Culture Magazine, Susan Axelrod, recently traveled throughout northern Spain visiting cheesemakers after her stint as a judge at the World Cheese Awards in Oviedo. She made stops at Los Cameros in La Rioja (makers of Los Cameros Mixed Milk Cheese, Oveja Añejo, Queso Camerano, and Señorio de Vaca Añejo) and Oscar’s cheese plant outside of León, where he makes Leonora® and Leonora a Fuego®.
