Arrope (Grape Must & Pumpkin) Mitica®
Arrope is a seductive mix of candied pumpkin in a velevety grape must reduction. Originating in Northern Africa, it is made by boiling the liquid and pulp of crushed Moscatel grapes, then simmering pieces of pumpkin in the resultant dark purple syrup. It is sweet and fruity with a hint of bitterness in the finish, similar to molasses. Drizzle over fresh cheese or ice cream, use as a glaze on roasted meats, or simply spread on toast. Preorder only.
