Piave Vecchio DOP

Piave is a cow’s milk cheese produced with milk from the Bruna Alpina breed, which feeds on fresh foliage from surrounding mountain pastures. The rich high protein milk is particularly apt for cheesemaking and imparts the special sweetness so characteristic of Piave. Ours is aged 10-12 months. Serve with your favorite Italian wine, especially good with crisp, fruity whites. Also superb with our Plum, Crab Apple or Pear Mostarda.
