Pecorino Romano DOP Pietro Punturi
This small production Pecorino Romano is made in Lazio from milk from the Roman countryside. Robust and sharp, it has well-rounded flavor and a semi-firm, dry texture. Production for Pecorino Romano Pietro Punturi is very limited and much of the process is done by hand. Wheels are larger than average and aged a minimum of 10 months, much longer than the 5 months required by the DOP. It is made by our longtime partner and we are the exclusive importers of the cheese.
