Molí de Ger (Ger Mill) is situated in the mountainous, sun-dappled region of Cerdanya, in Catalunya. Once home to a flour mill, Molí de Ger now focuses on producing exceptional farmstead cheeses. Cheesemaker Pere Pujol uses raw milk from the farm’s herd of 100 Friesian cows, tended to by his brother and father. His Puigpedrós has a ruddy, pink-orange washed rind with mild barnyard aromas. Deliciously earthy and nutty, it is an excellent intro to the world of washed-rind cheese.
