Appenzeller® Black Label (6 Month)
This robust, hearty, and herbaceous raw cow’s milk cheese is one of the staples in the Swiss cheese landscape, just like Emmentaler or Gruyère. What makes Appenzeller really special is the smear with which wheels are rubbed – it includes an undisclosed mixture of herbs, spices, liqueurs and/or wine from the region. After aging for 6 months, the cheese develops some sharpness, but the flavor is very well balanced.
